About this product
Bypass lopping shears designed for pruning trees and shrubs. The cutting blade slides past a counterblade in a scissor action. The offset pivot bolt creates a slicing motion during cutting, which assists pruning of live wood and distributes the cut across a larger blade area for extended life.
The hook-shaped counterblade holds branches steady and enables large cutting diameter. A sap groove recess reduces friction and sticking between blade and counterblade. Blades are made of blue steel.
