The GLM 50-25 G is a handheld laser distance measurer for indoor and outdoor use. It features a green laser spot at 515 nm wavelength (Class 2, <1 mW) for visibility over long distances, with a measurement range of 0.05 to 50.00 m and an accuracy of ±1.5 mm. The device offers six units of measurement: metres, centimetres, millimetres, feet, inches, and feet-inches.
The housing is IP65-rated for complete protection against dust and water jets, and incorporates shock-absorbing protection to withstand a 1.5 m drop onto hard concrete. A customisable button allows users to define preferred measurement functions, and vibration feedback confirms each measurement. The colour display supports 30 languages and includes a Big Numbers Mode for enhanced readability. The unit stores up to 10 measurement values and runs on two AA batteries (supplied). It includes a 1/4-inch tripod thread for mounting.
