Aquaseal Waterproof Tanking Membrane is a liquid waterproofing compound supplied ready to use, requiring no dilution. It is applied by brush in a 2-coat system to create a flexible watertight membrane on floors and walls prior to tiling in bathrooms, wet rooms, wet zones, balconies and partially covered external areas.

The membrane can be used standalone or as part of the Aquaseal Wet Room System in conjunction with tanking primer, tanking tape and drain mat. It is compatible with common building substrates including plasterboard, MDF, plywood, cementitious boards, blockwork, concrete and speciality wet room boards. The product is non-hazardous and solvent-free. Tiling can commence 12 hours after application, though damp or humid conditions will extend drying time. Do not apply below 10 °C or externally when rain is imminent (within 6 hours).
