About this product
One-part polyurethane foam supplied as a hand-operated aerosol. The foam expands on application to up to 50 times its original volume and meets DIN 4102 Part 1 Class B2 fire-resistance requirements for construction materials. The high fire rating slows passage of flames and smoke compared to standard B3 grades.
Once cured, the foam can be cut, sawn or plastered over after one hour, provided working temperatures (can and surfaces) are between +5 to +25°C, ideally 20°C. It is suited to filling gaps around pipe entries through fire-rated walls, sealing around window and door frames, electrical wire chasing, deep joints prior to sealant or plaster application, and irregular gaps in stone, brick, concrete or plaster. Also used for fixing door frames, timber structures, windowsills, thresholds and window frames, insulating behind cladding to exterior walls, behind soffit and barge boards, and automotive applications.
This product is classified as dangerous goods and may be subject to shipping restrictions.
