A chrome-nickel Nilos-Ring Type AV designed for sealing rolling bearings in the 222-series, supplied as a single piece. The ring has an outside diameter of 110 mm and is available with inside diameters of 85 mm or 67 mm, with thickness options of 0.3 mm or 3 mm to suit different bearing configurations. The seal ring touches the bearing outer ring slightly and is installed in a kinked seal groove, which should be filled with grease before installation to prevent grease leaking from the bearing and to keep dirt and contaminants out. The product weighs 13 g and measures 102 mm in length and 101 mm in width.
