Sika Black Jack 901 is a solvent-based, full-bodied black bituminous paint designed to provide waterproof, weatherproof and corrosion-resistant protection. It resists low concentrations of alkalis and acids and withstands prolonged oxidation.
The paint can be applied to iron, steel, lead, zinc, aluminium, asbestos-cement, concrete, stone, wood, felt and brick. When dry, it forms an odourless, taint-free black film suitable for metal surfaces including corrugated iron sheets, fire escapes, stairways, ladders, storage tanks, gutters, downpipes, fences, railings and gates. It also serves as a protective coating for concrete structures, stone, brick and sand/cement surfaces, and can be used as an overcoat for felt and wood.
