About this product
Sika Black Jack 905 is a solvent-based, full-bodied black bitumen compound reinforced with fibres. It provides general-purpose waterproofing for roofing applications, guttering and structural steelwork, drying to a tough black coating. The coating resists rain wash-off almost immediately after application, making it suited to winter use.
The product can be applied to asphalt roofs, built-up felt roofs, concrete roof decks, cement sheeting, metal sheeting (iron, steel, zinc and lead), slates and tiles. It may be used with hessian reinforcement scrim or bitumen-coated glass fibre scrim, and can also serve as a vapour barrier on walls and roofs.
