About this product
WD-40 is a multi-function liquid formulated for moisture displacement, corrosion control, lubrication, cleaning and penetration. The product penetrates grain boundaries in metals and works across a temperature range of -100°F to +500°F. It comprises chemical concentrates suspended in high-grade petroleum distillate and does not affect fabrics, rubbers or plastics.
The Smart Straw aerosol features a permanently attached spray mechanism offering dual-action capability. The straw flips up for precision spray application on fine work, and flips down for wide-area coverage. The mechanism is designed to be economical in use and eliminates lost straws.
The product displaces moisture from electrical systems, penetrates and loosens rusted or seized metal parts, protects metal surfaces against corrosion and moisture, lubricates moving parts, and removes dirt, grease, adhesives and various marks from surfaces.
