About this product
Butyl glazing compound formulated for bedding double glazed units into timber window frames where a timber bead is used. Suitable for both soft and hardwood frames. The elastic formulation allows movement with the frame and contains added plasticiser to improve adhesion and help prevent cracking.
Suitable for bedding insulated glass units, glazing greenhouses in metal and timber construction, and use with laminated or heat-absorbing glass. Not suitable for plastic frames or frames treated with decorative microporous stains.
