About this product
Pyro Mate Firesil is a neutral cure, elastic silicone sealant designed for building joints requiring fire ratings. It conforms to EN1366-4 and achieves a fire rating of up to 4 hours in certain joint configurations. The sealant is CE marked under ETAG 026 Part 3 and EN15651-1:2012 type F-EXT-INT CC class F 25LM.
The sealant adheres to most building surfaces, both porous and non-porous, and remains permanently flexible. It is suitable for sealing joints, voids and irregular holes in fire walls, partitions and other structures, and can be used for internal and external applications. Joints should be up to 50 mm wide and 25 mm deep; primer is required for most construction substrates. The white finish has excellent weathering characteristics.
This cartridge contains 295 ml and weighs approximately 420 g. Dimensions are 230 × 49 × 49 mm.
