About this product
Silweld is a silicone self-fusing tape supplied in 3 m rolls. It bonds to itself to create airtight and watertight seals without requiring adhesive, and functions underwater. The tape serves for repairs to hoses, pipes, and electrical connections, as well as for insulating wires and connections.
The tape is rated as an electrical insulator to 8,000 volts and withstands temperatures from -65 to 260 °C. It tolerates pressure to 700 psi and resists petrol, oils, acids, solvents, salt water and ultraviolet rays. The product weighs 74 g and measures 168 mm × 42 mm × 109 mm.
