The seal is type CC, which features a rubber outer coating with an integral dust lip for enhanced protection against contamination in rotating machine applications. The sealing material is nitrile rubber (NBR) with a spring made of zinc-plated spring steel. Operating temperature range is −35 to 100 °C.
